Links By George September 6th

Donations are as always gratefully appreciated for the many hours a day I am on internet researching the news stories that I organize for each presentation. But again, in no way will I not send out these newsletters if there are no donations as I am dedicated to sharing and spreading articles of awareness and reflection.

In any case, the "links by george" will go on.

We have a paypal contact at

Lots of stories again this week covering the range from earthquakes, floods,
military invasions, spiritual practices, shamanism, health news, conspiracies, politics, etc.
Also, I always add fresh art on the bottom section of the blog. In the art section
of the newsletter I have this week many links to ROCK POSTER ARTISTS,
TIMOTHY LEARY and others.

Check out my updated blog images towards the bottom.

The blog is formatted such that the articles appear in the middle part.
On the right side are a column of images and videos.
The Music Videos section is towards bottom, along with Punmasters Music News.
Once you scroll down the right side column to the end, the section of art starts with
the most recent featured art first. The quotes of the week and music articles of the
week appear towards the bottom of this section as well.

Cheech and Chong
- "A Midsummer's Nice Dream."

"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed." Martin Luther King, Jr.

Resistance is feasible even for those who are not heroes by nature, and it is an obligation, I believe, for those who fear the consequences and detest the reality of the attempt to impose American hegemony. - Noam Chomsky
"It is the function of the CIA to keep the world unstable, and to propagandize and teach the American people to hate, so we will let the Establishment spend any amount of money on arms."-- John Stockwell, former CIA official and author
"The only effective answer to organized greed is organized labor." ~Thomas Donohue, Former President AFL-CIO
"History is an account mostly false, of events mostly unimportant, which are brought about by rulers, mostly knaves, and soldiers, mostly fools."-- Ambrose Bierce, American writer, 1842-1914
"Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. Samuel Beckett (1906-04-13 - 1989-12-22) Irish playwright

"Laws: We know what they are, and what they are worth! They are spider webs for the rich and mighty, steel chains for the poor and weak, fishing nets in the hands of the government." - Pierre-Joseph Proudhon (1809-1865) French mutualist political philosopher

"Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever." - Thomas Jefferson

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living in society, they create for themselves, in the course of time, a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it." - Frederic Bastiat, (1801-1850) French economist, statesman, and author

"The most potent weapon in the hands of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed" - Steve Biko
"In the past 30 years, the "masters of mankind," as Smith called them, have abandoned any sentimental concern for the welfare of their own society, concentrating instead on short-term gain and huge bonuses, the country be damned -- as long as the powerful nanny state remains intact to serve their interests." - Noam Chomsky

"How many Catholic schools do you think teach the students to question the authority of the Pope? Do you believe Christian schools teach students to question or challenge the authority of Jesus Christ? Do military schools teach the cadets to challenge the authority of superior officers? Well, why should we then expect government schools to teach children to question the authority of government?" -- Neal Boortz -- (1945- ) Radio talk show host, columnist
Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much of life. So aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something. -Henry David Thoreau, naturalist and author (1817-1862)
