LINKS BY GEORGE NEWSLETTER, JAN. 3, 2013

For anyone that will be on the Big Island, we invite you to our 35th wedding
anniversary and Ariel's 30th birthday event at Uncles Awa Club in beautiful
Kalapana on Saturday January 26th. There will be a pot luck starting after 3pm
and then the bands will start pumping out wonderful music from 4pm until late.
Our friend Scott Huckabay will be making a rare Big Island appearance so be
prepared to be delighted by his amazing guitar alchemy and channeled music
of the higher spheres. Love Machine unrolls an uplifting psychedelic rock
presentation of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd and more. And of course our son John
and his partner Ariel (aka Mali Nali) will enchant you with their unique blend of
real heart and soul musical dimensions. Come join us for another fun evening
at Uncles.
LINKS BY GEORGE NEWSLETTER
         ~ JANUARY 3, 2012~
Aloha from an off grid rain forest cabin in Hawaii. For the past 7 years
I have lived in several places around the world and have been sending
my "Links by George" newsletter, blog and Facebook postings which I describe
as "an eclectic list of links of articles, music and quotes relating to alternative
lifestyles, culture, shamanism, spirituality, politics, conspiracies, art images
and environmental issues". I arrange the format so as to flow from one story
to another as well as have the option to find out more details on any particular story.

Here is the facebook announcement to the party
YOUR DONATION OF ANY SIZE HELPS
AND IS VERY APPRECIATED

I am committed to networking these articles and stay many hours a day
researching. Our financial situation is very challenging as it is and the cost
to keep the internet services also is a problem each month. I would like
to thank the friends that have sent in donations to the service I provide.
I am not asking for anyone to feel that they have to donate.
My service is from the heart and it is a pleasure for me to outreach
to as many people as possible. Many people write me back
that they have benefited from the articles and thus the information
provides a service. However, if anyone can send even a small donation
to me through pay pal or otherwise, my family and I
would be very very appreciative.
In any case, the 'links by George" will go on. Please feel free to forward this

newsletter as well as my Facebook messages as networking information is a
vital tool of awareness. I would be happy to add other interested people to my
mailing list as well.
We have a PAY PAL account where you can send a contribution
through your credit card.
We also have an account with DWOLLA which allows you
to send a donation
from a bank account without need of using a credit card

If you prefer to send a check or money order, our address is:

I can also be contacted through Facebook on either of my two accounts
with my name George Douvris

HIGH CONSCIOUSNESS:

One of the more overlooked books on awareness of parallel and significant reality perception is Ordin Ashlie's small but potent book HAWAIIAN CROSSOVER. Below the title is the enigmatic wording CONVERSATIONS WITH A GOD?. Indeed the reader is taken on an exhilarating dialog that offers portals of understanding showing that we are much more than what we think we are in our mundane reality scripts and dramas. Through various simple to follow techniques, we unveil how to "crossover" to these higher states which bring about a synthesis and integration of many aspects of existence that co-exist within and all around us. Navigation to an understanding of our purpose and relationships to higher vistas also brings us to a more profound basis of human history and potential. HAWAIIAN CROSSOVER is a book that I highly recommend and feel that once you start reading it, you won't want to put it down.

"Wiping Countries Off the Map": Who’s Failing the "Failed States"Washington is in the "business of destroying" a very long list of countries.Across the world, a dangerous rumor has spread that could have catastrophic implications. According to legend, Iran’s President has threatened to destroy Israel, or, to quote the misquote, "Israel must be wiped off the map". Contrary to popular belief, this statement was never made, …" (Arash Norouzi, Wiped off The Map: The Rumor of the Century January 2007)"The United States has attacked, directly or indirectly, some 44 countries throughout the world since August 1945, a number of them many times. The avowed objective of these military interventions has been to effect "regime change". The cloaks of "human rights" and of "democracy" were invariably evoked to justify what were unilateral and illegal acts. (Professor Eric Waddell, The United States’ Global Military Crusade (1945- ), Global Research, February 2007"This is a [Pentagon] memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran." I said, "Is it classified?" He said, "Yes, sir." I said, "Well, don’t show it to me." (General Wesley Clark, Democracy Now, March 2, 2007)

NATIONAL NEWS:
GENERAL INFO:

POLITICAL:
ECONOMIC:

The Financial Elite's War Against the US Economy. Today’s economic warfare is not the kind waged a century ago between labor and its industrial employers. Finance has moved to capture the economy at large, industry and mining, public infrastructure (via privatization) and now even the educational system. (At over $1 trillion, U.S. student loan debt came to exceed credit-card debt in 2012.) The weapon in this financial warfare is no larger military force. The tactic is to load economies (governments, companies and families) with debt, siphon off their income as debt service and then foreclose when debtors lack the means to pay. Indebting government gives creditors a lever to pry away land, public infrastructure and other property in the public domain. Indebting companies enables creditors to seize employee pension savings. And indebting labor means that it no longer is necessary to hire strikebreakers to attack union organizers and strikers.
