Stephanie does the uploading the "links by george" articles into the blog as well as the photos and art work which take her many hours as well and for which I am very grateful.
Greetings and thanks to everyone who was concerned about the recent tsunami's effect on us here in Hawaii. Although there was some damage to ocean front homes and beaches on the west side of the island, we did not have any problem in our area. At one moment, however, we did experience a mild earthquake which had us very concerned.
Times of changes are quickening on the planet and suggested reasons are many. Responding from a point of fear as well as from denial are not beneficial. However, we do need to have clear awareness of what we are facing as well as the reasons for its manifestations as our reference points. Free choice makes it a personal responsibility how to act in these times however. Taking care of our health, bringing light on the triggers and preparation for emergencies are all part of the equation. The Hopi Native American prophecy reminds us to "know our food and water sources, our shelter, our tribe and not being attached to expectations". To continue to live with full love is important as is the ability to shine light on the shadows. The biblical quote of "the dark fears the light" is a reminder how, as Jimi Hendrix was quoted as saying "the power of love is stronger than the love of power".
I want to also thank the friends who have sent donations to keep this "links by george" newsletter still posting. We are experiencing adverse financial challenges, but I am dedicated to keep researching and networking information. If you can spare even a small amount to the cause, I would be gratefully appreciative. If not, no pressure, as I will manage as best I can.
